These are
the most common types of windows, where the bottom pane opens
vertically. If the top pane is moveable, this is a double hung
window. If the top pane is fixed, it is a single hung window. |

For this type of
window measure the sliding section of the window from top to bottom.
This measurement is the 'height' of your window. |

Measure the width of your
window (see diagram). A standard size Windowgate™ is suitable for
windows with a width of 16" up to 24". For windows less that 16" in
