| It was a spring day in March of 1999 when I
heard the news about the tragic death of little Krupa, who had
fallen from the window of her family's 9th floor apartment. Once
again the news of a child who was fatally injured from falling
through an open window was in the headlines.
I knew
I had the answer that could prevent this type of tragedy. I had the
idea for 10 years however had not pursued it. Immediately I began
work on the development of a safety device that would prevent
children from falling out of an open window.
Within a year Windowgate™ was a
reality.
